Clare's Law
Did you know Clare's Law gives you the right to ask the
police if someone you are going out with / dating, might pose a
risk to you?
A member of the family can also make enquiries into the
partner of a close friend or relative.
Formally known as the
Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme, Clare's Law came
into being after the horrific killing of mum Clare Wood in 2009
after her friends and family were shocked to discover that the
killer had a history of violence against women.
