It can be difficult to spot the signs
of domestic abuse, especially during lockdown.
You probably won't see some of the
more obvious signs of domestic abuse with people isolating at home,
such as physical marks, but you may be able to identify some
others, both online or on the phone:
Here are 5 to keep in mind, some of
which can often be overlooked or explained away.
(1) Hearing
signs of violence and excessive arguing through the wall of your
neighbours house
(2) Their partner is
extremely jealous or possessive, yet they exhibit excessive privacy
concerning their personal life or
the person with whom they're in a relationship
(3) Drops out of
activities they previously enjoyed - may not be contactable
(4) They've stopped
being in touch with friends and family and are isolating
themselves
(5)They are depressed
or anxious, or you notice changes in their personality
