Child Exploitation can take several forms and often targets
Child Sexual Exploitation
Children find themselves in an exploitative relationship or
situation. They often receive gifts. money or affection in return
for performing sexual acts or allowing sexual acts to be performed
Child Criminal Exploitation
Children can be forced or enticed into becoming involved in
criminal activity. County Lines gangs is a term used for criminal
gangs, who use children and vulnerable adults to courier drugs
and money across county, town or city borders.
Radicalisation happens when somebody is pressured into carrying
out illegal acts that support extreme views.
Children are recruited, moved or transported and then exploited,
forced to work or sold.
If are worried that somebody you know has become victim to or have
information on any of the above, please report this to Merseyside
Police on 101 or to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
